Monica Asimus (she/her)

Clinical Psychologist

BPsych (Hons), MPsychol (Clin)

Monica is a clinical psychologist who enjoys working with kids and adults to help them get the most out of life. She particularly relishes the opportunity to work with people who find themselves stuck, faced with obstacles such as depression or anxiety that are stopping them from moving forward. As a person, Monica is approachable and easy to talk to, and is dedicated to empowering her clients. She is committed to providing evidenced based treatments, delivered with empathy and support.

“An important part of my job is to develop a safe and trusting environment in which clients are able to talk about difficult things. From this safe space, they are able to process issues and work on better ways of managing. It is rewarding to be able to help people take charge of their lives and make positive changes.”
